ABOUT AMANDA COLEMAN

My approach to crisis communication

“What I’ve Learned About Crisis Leadership”

For more than 20 years I have worked on the inside of leading and responding to some of the biggest crisis incidents and sustained reputational attacks. Being in the room advising senior law enforcement officers and other leaders taught me a huge amount about leadership, resilience and what it needs to be ready and able to respond when people and processes are put to the test.

When I established the consultancy, it was to move beyond just having crisis plans and processes and to focus on the people who are affected. My approach to crisis communication is detailed in my book Crisis Communication Strategies and it is an approach I bring to the work every day.

My work brings my experience and approach into the boardroom and to the communication team so that organisations and businesses can feel prepared to plan for, deal with and rebound from issues and incidents that threaten their reputation and ultimately their future.

If you are a communicator trying to navigate a more unpredictable world, this book is a timely and valuable guide.
